"Thee and Me.and much more..." 'Bettejo Dux' (Inspiration Wednesday)

Guest-blogger Bettejo Dux is one of Kauai's most colorful people, she has lived on the cosmic island of Kaua'i for over 40 years... She is an animal lover, people lover and enjoys life to the fullest. Today she talks  the poetry of magic and the child within us all... Enjoy!

THEE AND ME

We must not lose the child in us
We must not lose the magic
We must never lose the lover, that would be truly tragic.
We are funny loving creatures
All of us together
Skipping through the universe, holding hands forever
Laughing in the face of fate
Knowing that the game is
Always different always new
And always just the same.
We've worn a million costumes, we've played a million roles
But writing the script of the play we’re in
Is always in our control
So come my darling darlings and play the game with glee
So  the heading of this brave new act
Can be titled thee and me.

"Hawai'i is anything but paradise, it has been marketed with the "Paradise" and "Aloha" moniker so long that people are starting to believe it." James "Kimo" Rosen

Last evening Hawaii News now ran a story about famous Facebook mural artist David Choe whom just completed a masterpiece mural on the Big Island. Some in the community though it to be unchristian? So it was painted over with black spray paint.
Choe said,"I can't think of another city I've ever painted in where it's been met with this kind of animosity."

Carolyn I agree,Aloha truly is a myth, Ironically Choe's painting have such a high price tag, most people cannot afford that's why he gives back in mural art to communities around the globe. He's never been treated like this anywhere.
