"A letter to the Costco Connection Magazine..." 'James "kimo" Rosen'

No roped off lines at the Kauai Costco outdoor cafe.
Pick the wrong line and you wait forever...

A letter to the Costco Connection Magazine

Editors note---It is in high hopes that Costco will eventually install roped lines at their cafes...

Aloha from Kaua'i Hawai'i....

I have been a Costco Junkie since 1985 when I lived in Homer Alaska. Back then we would make the 250 mile trip from Homer to Anchorage for Costco runs and buy months worth of supplies for ourselves and any neighbor that asked.

Fast forward to my retirement years, I now live on the Island of Kaua'i and was thrilled when Costco finally arrived.

Even on Kauai where the cost of living is outrageous you can still purchase a  quarter pound plus hot dog and refillable drink for a $1.50, any where else on the island a drink alone is over $2.00.

The only thing I wish Costco would do is initiate roped lines in the cafe's and  food courts. If you pick the wrong window you wind up waiting forever. My luck always has me behind some guy ordering for the tour bus sitting in the parking lot.

I have filled out the customer comment forms many times over the years, talked to managers, supervisors and employee's. No Luck.

The banks do it, almost every fast food establishment  in the world has roped off lines where the next person is accommodated.

Please initiate roped lines at  Costco food courts and cafes.  If this happens Costco will be perfect.

Mahalo Nui Loa, (Thank you very much)

P.S. Ever think of selling a Hamburgers at the Costco cafe's?
