The folks at BK are marketing Gurus!

I recently wrote in this forum about the new bacon sundae at Burger king in an article titled, "Be kind like the King." The final sentence of the article was suppose to be funny, I think it was,it said, "Now if they would only make a whopper milkshake we'd have it all."
After my last article I realize the whole concept of a bacon sundae. It isn't about a delectable mouth watering culinary work of art that satisfies your palette's most exotic needs, but rather a marketing genius of a masterpiece scheme concocted by the marketing Gurus of Burger King.

This is what has transpired since the birth of the bacon sundae, newspapers, pod-casts,cable and network TV news, magazine ads,  radio talk shows, sermons from Rabbi's to bloggers like myself from all over the globe are talking about this amazingly ludicrous creation.

Do you honestly believe Burger King thought this was a culinary delight, they new it was far  fetched and a little mishugina (crazy) they knew this would push the buttons of many, which in turn generated millions of not billions in free mention of their brand all over the globe.

No question in my mind, this being one of the best subliminal marketing ploys in History!  Long live the King!
