Trumps failing businesses are his strengths

There's nothing wrong with failing in a business. You will learn more failing in a business than you will in earning your business degree at most colleges.

My father along with many used to say, "it would be cheaper to give somebody the upstart money to start a business even if the business fails you will learn more in a failing business than  you ever would in the class room."

This brings to  point the many making fun of Donald Trump having four business that failed and went into bankruptcies, however never mentions the thousands of successes. The American system of taxation and business is set-up to help failing businesses by being able to file bankruptcy--basically a get of a jail free card. Therefore if eligible, why not apply and legally play the game of business?

Understanding your mistakes is the best way of learning. You cannot teach  the wisdom, comprehension and knowledge of someone like Donald J. Trump.  You may not be able to read him, he could be bluffing, he could be serious, this is how a good card player and leader should operate. The enemy should never know your next move.

It's a free country, vote who you want, but remember exercise your right to vote. I will not leave the US if my candidate doesn't win. I love America no matter who becomes president. I will respect that person, Republican, Democrat or maybe even an Independent. Stay tuned to witness one of the most crazy and far out  elections in America history!

God bless America and all candidates running for Potus.

Alice Monaghan Excellent. Another winner. Very sad the media focuses on the negative regarding Trump. His accomplishments far out weigh a couple bankruptcies, which were due to economic times, not by his skills as a business man.

What did Trump learn that makes him a good candidate for President after his fourth bankruptcy that he didn't learn after his first, second, or third? Hmmmm... This raises a flag and it isn't red white and blue .... Just red

KimoRosen said...

The system helped him 3 times., so why not a fourth? The system is there if needed. Look at all his successes and the thousands he has employed and helped support families and the many charities he has graciously given millions to including wounded veterans.

Ron "Martini" Ostroff said...

Yeah. Screw all the people who don't get paid what is owed them. Face it Kimo, Trump is a rat. Love is blind and you are in love with a rat. Sorry. What millions has he given to charity? He won't release his tax returns. His record on treating his employees is not stellar.

KimoRosen said...

Not in love, just feel he is the right candidate for the job, not just me. Many polls suggest if the election were today Trump would win. America is sick of the same old politics and good ole ole boys network. Hillary would be nothing but scandal after scandal and revisiting old scandals that nobody can get over. Time for new blood! 😇

KimoRosen said...

I think crooked Hillary or the Bern would have a hard time operating any business including a lemonade stand. Yes business is important in politics it teaches the negotiation of deals and getting along with others.

Ron "Martini" Ostroff said...

What does that have to do with the four bankruptcies? You keep repeating the same argument over and over. Enjoy

I know Trump is your choice for Potus but
to be quite honest, his rhetoric scares me!
No one liked Obama but do you know he
has brought us farther out of drowning in
debt than the Bushs? Both started a war
so they could go down in history as "great"
leaders! Backfired on both of them and put
us in a deeper debt than we ever have been.
When I listen to Trump I hear what he is not
saying and I also listen to our alias and I am
convinced Trump is not ready to walk that
razor thin line between war and peace. He
opens his mouth and his guts fall out! No I
am convinced my candidate is a much better
choice for president. Grumpy Cat 2016!!!

Ron "Martini" Ostroff said...

Trump will probably defeat Clinton if Bernie supporters fail to support her and many vote for Trump. The scandal after scandal is a bit much and cheapens your argument.

Wish my father believed this.

Have you heard the latest from Trump? He is calling women of Native American decent Poncahontis!!! He also said, "There is no and has never been a drought in California! Simply a way the government expects to control the water!", and has been said to have told some reporter Hitler had the right idea!!! HELP!!! Is this guy totally off his rocker?

KimoRosen said...

It's Elizabeth Warren he calls Poccahentis because she is a white woman who who allegedly claims to be Native American.

Kit Ellison said...

She is 1/32nd Cherokee. I've worked with her on a couple of BIA committees. She is a very pro Native American Rights activist. He has no more right to call us Poncahuntis than he has the right to call Jewish people Hitlers oven fuel!!! That is just plain rude and inexcusable in many people's books. What will he call the North Korean leader, Maggot Food for their rice love? No. If he can't be diplomatic and can't control his mouth he need to be somewhere other than office. Any office.

KimoRosen said...

I wish I had remembered to snap a head shot of you at Micky D's yesterday.

I'm not changing your mind, your not changing mine.
One thing is for certain it's not worth loosing friendships over any of the self serving narcissistic politicians. There all liars.

Kit Ellison said...

I hate pictures of me! Yes, to be a politicians are liars, they get elected that way but Kennedy and Obama did their best in office and I thank them for trying.

You can't fault me for being a worrywart. I was raised by a hard shelled baptist and her training stays with me to this day. She was always looking at the "what if" picture and mostly it was the dark side. Sorry.

Pete Antonson replies with a Letter to the editor in the Monday May 30, 2016 edition of the Garden island News (memorial day)

Faith in Trump is misplaced
A letter appeared (TGI, May 18) that served to give the usual Trump shrug of the shoulders to his four bankruptcies.
“Oh, they’re just learning experiences!” went the argument! I’m sure that most people are aware of what happens in bankruptcy, investors get, if they’re “lucky,” 10 cents on the dollar for their investment.
“Oh, but these are those Wall Street guys we already hate!”
I’m sorry, but, it’s more likely a teacher retirement fund or Ma and Pa Kettle from Des Moines that takes the real hit; even have their lives ruined!
The “learning experience” was for those who put their faith in Donald Trump. It’s especially an “education” for those who trusted him regarding projects like Trump University or those Americans whose retirement dreams are slightly disturbed mounds of sand in Baja, California!
It’s high time the press ends its fawning celebrity worship and starts interviewing some of the “collateral damage,” also known as people, who were sacrificed for the sake of Trump’s extravagant lifestyle!
Those of us that know better, about Dear Donald, were amused that this letter appeared the same day as one about a “pig problem.”
We easily determined that it was “theme day” on TGI’s letters to the editor page!
