Really Mr. Micken's? Lighten up! |
I would like to respond to Mr. Glenn Micken's recent LTE " Re-think legalizing marijuana"

The billions of dollars of potential tax revenues collected from the sale of marijuana should Hawai'i vote to legalize it might help built the roads Mr. Mickens and I so desire, it might help fund more baseball leagues and more baseball diamonds. Imagine having a surplus in the state and county budgets, establishing rainy day funds or should I say smokey day funds for all the unexpected!
Prohibition doesn't work, why keep it in the hands of organized crime?
I personally do not smoke cigarettes or marijuana but highly support the decimalization of the herb.
P.S. Just talking about this makes me crave a 40 lb bag of Oreo cookies.

Treat marijuana like alcohol & collect a tax to upgrade any infrastructure needs & if you smoke,DON'T DRIE !!
If you SMOKE,DON'T DRIVE !!
Unc, if you smoke don't drive, just make sure and have a 40 lb bag of Oreo's cookies for when the munchies kick in! ;D)
I no smoke anything now, used to smoke on Hawaii 5-0 with Jack Lord because it's free from the Prop master, both of us quit cold turkey because smoking smells & interferes with work.
