"My Dollars on Kollar..!" 'James "Kimo" Rosen'

My dollar is on Kollar..! Justin Kollar  for Kaua'i county
Prosecutor. No District attorney's on Kauai, they call
them Prosecutors because in the past most candidates
were not attorney's or educated. Justin is not
only educated but a decent guy!
Remember to vote!  I like to say our local race is between
 Justin Time and Justin Sane.

Aloha, Check out my opinion article in the '10-19-12' edition of the Kaua'i Garden island news, "My Dollar on Kollar!

http://thegardenisland.com/news/opinion/mailbag/letters-for-friday-oct/article_0900bd32-19c3-11e2-b0c3-0019bb2963f4.html
The  Kaua'i county  primary  for Prosecutor was clearly won by Justin Kollar defeating incumbent Shaylene Iseri Carvalho with 51% of the vote (6883 votes) to Iseri Carvalho's 49% of the vote. (6691 votes)
Justin Kollar clearly the winner by 50% plus one!

I am hoping in the future if the  primary winner is decided by more than a 50%  plus one margin to do what Honolulu and many municipalities do,  declare that candidate the winner without  requiring them to partake in  another expensive and stressful election cycle three months later.

Why vote for the exact same thing in the general election? The taxpayers save money with one less ballot and the candidates can concentrate on their jobs vs. waiving signs and  blocking sidewalks for the next 3 months?

I've got my Dollar on Kollar! Kollar, the best candidate for your taxpaying dollar.

News stories quoting Shay often have "expletive deleted" to hide the foul language she uses in her unprofessional paranoiac rants about vast conspiracies of council members, the mayor, former prosecutors, and even heads of well-respected Kauai non-profits. Justin, on the other hand, has shown a level head in every situation, and will bring respect back to the prosecutor's office.

Chuck, I hope both parties have a clean debate on Tuesday, and talk the issues vs. mud slinging.

I believe Justin could run for anything and win on Kaua'i...

BTW, could you also post your comment on facebook? More people will get involved in the discussion that way? Unless of course you want it this way.

Do you think Justin and Shaylene will "unfriend" each other during of after the debate? Justin just needs to sound intelligent with a little humor to get every-one's attention. Ironically most people on Island do not know the issues and vote name recognition. That's why it's so amazing that Justin the new guy won the primary, and as my blog states if Kauai was like Honolulu there would be no need for a general election when a primary win is by 50% plus 1...

via facebook;"Justin will stay positive, professional, and respectful. Shay will try very hard to appear she's doing the same. But just like Shay's buddy Mufi did, she will slip up, and it will hurt her, as it did Mufi. Hey, have you noticed Shay's campaign office is right next to Linda Lingle's? I wonder if they got a shared rate....

My guess is their office space may be donated by some campaigner? Remember Shay's campaign motto, "Just say no to rice-cookers! Maybe I'll go to the debate with a sign that says just that? :D)

I will be listening to your debate on Kong radio Tuesday night, don't like crowds otherwise I'd be there in person. Smile, use some wit, "this whole campaign has been like being a pressure cooker, while others have been in rice cookers?! People who win debates speak from their heart, verses a bunch of teleprompted pre-written material. I think most people vote on name on recognition and for you to have won a Kauai primary against a local name is a miracle...
