"Your fired..." 'James "Kimo" Rosen'

James "Kimo" Rose pictured above with Obama Da Dog in 2008,
the day Obama adopted him. A hard subject for anyone
to talk about is firing a nice guy. Enjoy!

Your fired

Why is it that the local sports media is being so tame concerning  UH head football coach Norm Chow after having a terrible first two seasons.  This past season the Rainbow Warriors  were 1-11.

Chow  is being given a free pass by local media since everyone is gun shy since he is the first Asian coach to coach UH football  in a predominately white mans  coaching league. There are only two Asian head coaches in the college ranks,Ken Niumatalolo (Naval Academy) and  Chow . There are no Asian head coaches in the NFL.

Norm Chow may be a nice guy and gentleman however as the states highest paid employee at $550,000 ,  nearly 4 times what the Governor makes.

It's time for Chow to step down or as Donald Trump might say, "Your fired!'

P.S.Google maps is so cool. type in the address of your childhood home and you can see what it looks like now! unreal! https://maps.google.com/

Diana, even though I plugged in 85 Grayton, I took a stroll and saw your old crib you grew up in.I even remeber your phone number (835-7661?) right

That's correct. I took a still also. I remember places mom told me not to go like the street behind the house and then I saw some familiar names. So long ago. If I can manage, I'll go to the reunion, no one will remember anything. 40years...

Funny I never thought of looking up these places before, but its definitely cool! and a lot more crowded.

Steve, I actually went to my old address in Homer 281 Bunnel and was able to go down The whole street... what's your physical address, so i can look at your place?

Steven Eayrs said...

My address is 41210 crested Crane st, Kachmak City, Ak, but if you input it you will end up in a meadow about 200 yards NE of our house... If you input 41234 Crested Crane st you will get our place. I like the street picture views better than looking at roofs.. I looks like this picture is at least 4-5 years old. Whats your current address?

KimoRosen said...

4850 Kawaihau Rd. Kapaa hi. you will get the hospital in front of my place, since my address is actually a small community... but it's close. Steve i sent you a personal FB message, if you have time can you respond? OK, I'm going to check your place! it says on bottom left what year the photos were taking with satellites.

Don't think you saw this place Jim. This is what we built and moved into about 13 years ago, and in Katchmak city, about 3 miles east of Homer, and not 13 miles east in the old place you saw.

KimoRosen said...

OK prez, guess I'm the prez?your right. do you still own 13 mile too?

KimoRosen said...

Can hardly see your old place Jim. Its hidden behind the junk yard... All the cars on the road are the overflow from 2 Sisters bakery.

Steven Eayrs said...

Sold the place out east when we built this. Look up 1208 Lakeshore dr and you can see our shop on Beluga Lake

I did one better and went by my childhood home a couple of years back. The new owner made my sisters, brother and I welcome and let us roam the house as much as we wanted!

KimoRosen said...

Margie, I would like to do that with my childhood home too, if i ever get back to my birthplace.

Diana LaRussa said...

Jim, um, where were you born? I put in my address and yours and tried to walk the route I took so many times. Did you see what they did to my house? It looks naked.

KimoRosen said...

D-yes, brings back memories. I am not sure of the address I was born at only lived there 2 years it was on Tauton st. I will try and get address from my sister.

Diana LaRussa said...

I actually didn't know this. That was a weird strange trip, I've done this b4 with all the places I lived, even over seas and it's interesting to see the changes. Some of the pics are years old and I can see them as it was when I lived there. Thanlks for the reminder.

I also visited the house I grew up in many years after I left it.
