Thank God for My Cell Phone, Face Book &  Abu Dhabi

 Abu Dhabi regulates the Internet and restricts websites.  I  used to like; Pandora Radio,Viper,Face Time.Netflix and a few others, yet I have adjusted fairly well!

 When I first arrived here, I told myself it will be okay. It takes time to make new friends in a foreign country, takes time to get used to driving around and getting familiar with the roads. It takes time to get to know the different types of foods and the culture behind it and where you can find stores that carry your favorite food brands!
Thank God it doesn't take much time to dive in to my SMART PHONE and Google endless questions!

I am so Thankful for My Samsung cellular phone! I can keep in touch with my kids via SKYPE or  "Whats app" free text messages, video messages and photos to be sent!
I have spent numerous hours talking to my daughter Sasha and Grand kids, being this far, I am so thankful to see the and hear them instantly!

The last 3 weeks I've gotten meet a lot of people by Facebook pages.
My neighbor added me to our Sas Al Nakhl community page. Neighbors are able to share community information such as  lost pet, borrowing a ladder to coffee meetings in the village cafe.

There are so many pages one can join to get in on the latest clubs, sports, free give a ways, sewing, arts & crafts events and of course golf!

I've made friends simply by joining the Abu Dhabi Duffers and the Abu  Dhabi City Golf Club.
I have.been able to talk with the golfers on page then meet up for 9 Holes at night! We play at night since the rates are much more reasonable. I have played twice and enjoyed making friends with people from Ireland, United Kingdom and Australia.

On Abu Dhabi Woman;
You can truly get a cup of tea or coffee sit back and engage in a full cyber conversation with numerous woman.I guess it's like a chat room without having to put on make up!

Imagine living in the Pony Express Days?
