"Ige’s folly will sink re-election efforts"
Vern Miyagi and the button pusher employed by HEMA were finally fired as should had happened immediately following the false missile alert of January 13, 2018. Since
HEMA director Vern Miyagi was finally fired for the false missile scare. Vern is on the left, Hawaii Governor David Ige is on the right... |
Ige cannot be fired and there is so little time left in his current term, he would serve the state of Hawaii's best interest by not seeking re-election. I do not believe the votes are there after "IGE'S FOLLY." I am coining this whole mess "Ige's Folly."
The "Button pusher has finally come out and spoken anonymously with the most feared winning defense attorney in the state of Hawaii at his side, 'Mr. Michael Green.'The local newscast asked viewers if they thought the 'button pusher' was seeking damages against the state of Hawaii? Really? Why would you retain the most feared defense attorney to ever walk the Aloha state if you weren't looking for a yuge (sic) payday?
I have a $100.00 reconditioned Dell desktop computer on which I do most my Facebook, and other social media. I am a 'nothing person' compared to the Governor. I could've got the message out to thousands of people via social media just by tagging all my VIP contacts, like Senators, County council members, Mayors and Radio and TV personal.
Governor Ige had no excuse for a 38 minute delay in getting a message that the warming was
a mistake, a false call. One man had a heart attack during that 38 minute time frame, families were guiding their children into storm drains and sewer lines and hiding in closets, many others still have a hard time every time they look at their smart phones.
Hawaii Governor David Ige demonstrated he cannot think out of the box or in an emergency situation. He demonstrated great incompetence as a leader. There is no excuse for the time frame the people of Hawaii waited to hear about the false warning. This false missile scare alone is reason for Governor Ige to not seek re-election, it shows great incompetence especially when a layperson from any computer or smartphone anywhere could had contacted thousands of people without a major melt down.
The Governor is a decent man and good person but has demonstrated he is not a leader. I would say it's time for Governor Ige to step down, however since his term is almost over
Governor Ige would serve the people of Hawaii best by not seeking re-election! |
and a special election would cost the state an added burden both financially and emotionally, I believes it's in the best interests of the state of Hawaii and all the citizens of the Aloha state that this Governor give the people a much needed break by not seeking re-election.

Continued problems with this employee, was it because of Affirmative Action or Nepotism that he was kept as a State Employee? Defense Attorney?
Possible Charges Being Drawn Up? Was the Act Intentional?

Maybe the man really believed Hawai’i was being attacked. Now what? Hope it comes true? For him maybe.
By the way, I’d really like to share a picture on the blog. Can they program it that way or at least us use html?

For anyone who has actually worked in an important leadership level position, 38 minutes is a pretty good response for:
1. Having work of importance interrupted while someone makes you aware of a serious problem.
2. Determining absolutely for sure that a dire warning has no merit while at the same time beginning an appropriate response in case it does.
3. Attempting at least one solution that fails.
4. Having those who work for you complete a successful solution.
My compliments to the Governor!
Kimo. As I understand, and have read, this "button pusher" had screwed up before, more than once, but was never fired. We all know that this is typical, not only in state of Hawaii employment, but just as common in our county employment. Therefore, any supervisor that was involved in covering up the screw up by this button pusher in the past, should also be fired.
Larry,
Yes, I have read and heard the same.
And yes In the private sector these people would never last.
