"Food must just be orgasmic to dogs..."

If dog is man's best friend why do we feed them dog food? They say a dog's sense of smell is 200 times greater than that of man, therefore food must just be orgasmic to dogs.

I garbage pick at the local Chinese restaurant for my dog, she acts as if I were Donald Trump giving her a diamond necklace every time I pick that dumpster for her.

I am not a dog, but for those people that feed their dogs dog food, why?

I have been a regular rider on the Bus for the last eight years!

I believe the Bus is a great alternative. saves gas, saves environment, helps control traffic and saves stress, no worry about getting pulled over, no worry about insurance.

Please increase service to include Sundays, and make room for more than just 2 bikes per bus.

The Safeway plaza bus stop wastes alot of valuable time, may I recommend that the bus stop be put in front on the highway as they do in front of Kapaa, Big Save.

The Bus is really a Great alternative, my only overall problem is the many rude bus drivers, maybe too, the bus drivers could be trained in customer service and Aloha

"Coupon books..."

Coupon books are not what they used to be, businesses have become tight and nobody wants to give a deal any more, which is one of the many reasons so many businesses are suffering.

Coupons are ridiculous in Hawaii, one restaurant will give you $5.00 off, but you must spend $35.00 or more and they bill you for the gratuity. I have never spent more than $15.00, so whoopee if I spend another $20.00 and they give me 5.00 off, so what who cares.

There is a muffler shop that has a coupon for a oil change for 29.95, normally 35.95, (then in small print $6.00 for oi filter). I actually went in with the coupon and they wrote up the invoice before they started the work and I said, your kidding right? I refused the service and went to the competitor that charged the same but was not scamming on consumers.

Why would a business spend $500.00 or more on such useless coupons, which may hurt them more than help?

Why not just hang on a sign on your door and offer two for one, no strings attached...

There has been quite the controversy lately about the National day of prayer and it's event's on our cosmic island. I think everyone just needs to say a prayer to resolve whatever bitter feelings were channeled


Prayer is defined in the Oxford Dictionary and Thesaurus as "a solemn request or thanksgiving to God or a God." Therefore if one doesn't believe in God why would they want to go to a national day of prayer?

Why would you invite Atheists to a national day of prayer? It would be like inviting black people and Jewish people to a Ku Klux Klan rally.

Prayer is marvelous, amazing and awesome, however not everyone is interested in a national day of prayer, so be it.

There is only way to resolve this issue, with scripture of course! "Ecclesiastes 3:1"

"Special order everything..."

This is not something I take pleasure in admitting, but I go to fast food restaurants more often than one should.

Now that I have opened my dirty laundry once again, here is my advise for better quality food at fast food restaurants.

Burger King on their hamburgers(whopper sandwiches) flame broil them all at once and keep the stash around all day. They microwave the hamburger on the bottom bun before combing the top bun and other condiments. This makes the bottom bun act as a sponge and you have a grease filled bottom bun. Therefore I always ask them to double toast the bottom bun on my whopper jr. without the meat, the sandwich become irresistible

Costco has the famous outdoor cafe here on Kauai, they sell a 1/2 lb hot-dog and refillable soda for 1.50. The trick is always ask them to take a fresh hot dog out of the steamer and wrap it just for you, they will give you stink eye but insures your hot-dog is hot, since many times they sell you a dog that's been sitting and is cold and stuck to the bun with moisture.

McDonald's always make sure to special order, I always get a Mcdouble with just pickles and onions and ask for ketchup on the side, this insures a crisp bun that's not saturated in sauce. If I order a McChicken I always request, "lite" mayo" since McDonald's tends to super-size on the sauces and condiments. This insures a fresh sandwich and not one sitting and waiting to be purchased and you save a few calories to boot.

Always remember to special order at any fast food restaurant, it may take longer but your dining experience will be McWonderful!

"Does size matter?.."

Does size matter?

I have asked many women if size matters and they all say the bigger the house the better.

Cell phones are another story, almost everyone lady friend of mine says,"the smaller the better."

Size does matter, depending on what your speaking of, everything is relative, some things are bettert big and some things are better small, and sometimes it's just good to be in between...

"How come we don't break up with same sexed friends?.."

I have gone through my share of break-ups with girlfriends. When it's over you do not talk or see each other and one party if not both parties are heart-broken.

I have had many dis-agreements with male friends and have been very pissed off at times, but we never break-up. The same is true for family, how come you can't break up with a brother , sister, cousin, uncle ,auntie, mother or father?

Breakups are only for two people whose lips once touched.

Why can't we break up with obnoxious same sexed friends. You feel obligated to take their calls and make excuses on why you can't do things with them. You act cordial and polite.

Either we start breaking up with same sexed friends and family members we no longer enjoy, or lie in the bed we make.
