"Alarming News..!" 'Marvin Gross'

Marvin Gross a financial planner from the suburbs of Western N.Y. Is back blogging about some alarming news, Enjoy...

Marvin's wife never reads this blog , so hopefully he still has a place to sleep this evening...  :D)  (Ladies this is only a joke!)

This is alarming

Beer contains female hormones! Yes, that's right, FEMALE hormones!

Last month,   Montreal University and scientists released the results of a recent analysis that revealed the presence of female hormones in beer. Men should take a concerned look at their beer consumption.
The theory is that beer contains female hormones (hops contain Phytoestrogens) and that by drinking enough beer, men turn into women.

To test the theory, 100 men each drank 8 schooners of beer within a one (1) hour period.

It was then observed that 100% of the test subjects, yes, 100% of all these men:-

1) Argued over nothing.

2) Refused to apologize when obviously wrong.

3) Gained weight.

4) Talked excessively without making sense.

5) Became overly emotional

6) Couldn't drive.

7) Failed to think rationally, and

8) Had to sit down while urinating.

No further testing was considered necessary!!

Send this to the men you know to warn them about drinking too much beer!

For another laugh check out this tablecloth trick, it's only 13 seconds and I know you will laugh!  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sm8qb2kP-fQ
The opinions, beliefs and viewpoints expressed by the various authors and forum participants on this blog site do not necessarily reflect the opinions, beliefs and viewpoints of the Publisher of Dakinetalk the blog, but they could? ;D)

via facebook;"It's true.
It is even included in the beer commercials.

Those hot, gorgeous Swedish beauties in the ads are not what you can expect to GET if you drink their beer (or even what you'll THINK you got when seen through those beer goggles), it is what you can expect to turn into."

Doug, I am still hoping you send me your santa guest blog before Christmas! I hope to run it Christmas week along with a blog form "3-D." My Christmas day my blog on why Jews eat chinese food on Christmas will be the Christmas feature!

Douglas Dunn said...

via facebook;"Will send it. I have it written and have been sitting on it.

Mine can go closer to Christmas; I saw 3D's letter to the editor this morning, and am familiar with his longer version, and think it is more seasonal and should go earlier."

‎10-4, it will go earlier for sure, it goes ""3-D, Doug and kimo on x-mas. How about a blog on x-mas vs. Christ-mas?

The Christians who complain about the "X" in "Xmas" crossing out "Christ" in Christmas demonstrate only their own ignorance of their own history.

It has nothing to do with the secularization of Christmas or the incorporation of Pagan traditions that long pre-date Christianity or the birth of Jesus.

The letter that we use as "X" was, in the Greek alphabet that was used to write most of the New Testament, the letter called "Chi" and, because it bore the closest resemblance to a cross, often used as a substitute for the word "Christ," especially in a time when paper and ink and other writing materials were scarce, as was literacy itself. The letter "chi" ("X") was widely used to mean "Christ."

Even today, it is a symbol often used by Catholics to mean "Christ," and most Popes have used it to represent "Christ" as part of their signatures, as did Mother Teresa.

Using the Greek letter "chi" ("X") in lieu of spelling out the entirety of the Greek word "Christ" (which was the equivalent of the Hebrew word "Messiah") was not to cross out the reference to Christ, but to express it in a form more accessible to more people."

Well, I just banged that one out off the top of my head (or keyboard) as a quick response to your Facebook comment, but I'm OK if you want to run it.

But it would make no sense if someone had not read the previous blog about the Pagan aspe..."

Mahalos 3-D, when you know a subject as well as you do, many times the things you bang out off the top of your head are the best. Trust me bruddah!

"3-D" said...

via facebook;"Well, of course, since some of the more extreme wacko Christians (not to be confused with the more moderate mainstream types) have gotten so paranoid about saying "Merry Christmas" instead of "Happy Holidays" to be inclusive of the many traditions of the season, perhaps if you run it as a blog (after the seasonal aspect has been established), you could close it out with the final line, "Merry Xmas."
