Our Labor Day Weekend
One of the nice advantages of living in a smaller town like Clarence are the nice local fund raisers that are done.
Labor Day is the annual Clarence Town Fireman's Chowder sale. Literally gallons and gallons of the chowder is made for a fundraiser with ingredients such as chicken, vegetables, meat and other assorted items which makes for a thick pourage-like soup .
Locals line up for blocks to buy a gallon, bowl or taste. For $20.00 a gallon, pail provided, its a steal. We freeze some for the winter and enjoy it right away as well.
A parade follows with an amusement park set up for the kids: perfect weather along with a perfect way to wind up the official summer time.

No.. all different areas all close by! We're in West Amherst..very near Pendleton. Clarence and East Amherst are all very close.
Actually I live in east Amherst but pay Clarence taxes and williamsville schools. We are the combo address
Wow...I pay Williamsville schools, too...have to really save up for that bill!!!
Got it, was confused because you say, "One of the nice advantages of living in a smaller town like Clarence." Your bio has you living in E. Amherst? Now you see what it's like running for public office! ;-)
Can you imagine running for public office and having every word you say dissected under a microscope? I would go crazy, (crazier!)
