President Obama is referred to as the nations first black President. Who would had thought that a nation that once endorsed slavery now has a black man in the white-house.

Many times I have thought if only the president was Jewish, because Judaism is a maternal religion and let's say for example  an orthodox Jewish woman conceives a child with a gentile  man, the child is deemed Jewish,  on the other hand let's say that a Jewish man  has a child with a non Jewish woman, the child is not Jewish.

President Obama'as mother was white, his father was black, according to Halakha (Jewish law) President Obama would be white.

I wish the Jewish law applied to all ethnicity's then the Tea-baggers,  Birthers and the Donald Trumps of the world wouldn't be so obsessed with racism or would they?
