"An open air mental ward..." James "Kimo" Rosen

Kaua'i is one of the most physically beautiful places
on  planet earth, however at times it feels
like an open air mental ward.

This Blog also
ran as an opinion article in the 07-06-12
edition of the Kaua'i Garden Island New.

Two recent Letters to the editor in the Kaua'i Garden Island news have stirred up some major controversy on the comment boards and  the local coconut wireless here on the cosmic Garden Island.

The recent letter to the editor offering free rides to the airport for anyone who has an opinion of their own and the other about burning rubbish in your yard and  it's second hand effects.

If I was a person from out of state reading the local opinion articles I would think to myself,I definitely do not want to ever move or visit that place.

Letters like these are good, it shows what kind of community we  actually are , it shows the character and spirit of the people. It also shows the ignorance and bigotry of so many people. It basically shows the world we are an open air mental ward here on da Garden Island.

We do not want Ferry boats, new bridges, new roads, any new construction, or  you...   In fact we don't even want smart meters, "since we so smart already."

So grab your Prozac,  Paxil, Zoloft, Cymbalta or St. Johns wort and c,mom down.
