Sometimes you just have to have fun and laugh,
this blog is written tongue-n-cheek style to hopefully make you smile and laugh, it's about the position of the 'county-couch,' a fictitious position that obviously doesn't exist. However if there is a 'county-chair,' why not a county-couch (sic) ;-)

Kauai Council elects new chair, who should be the couch?
Sometimes you just have to have fun and laugh,

The voting of the county chair is now history on the Cosmic Garden Island. Mazel Tov to Arryl Kaneshiro as the newly elected chair.
With all the drama behind us it seems like a fine detail was somehow forgotten with all the hoopla.
Our newly elected county council never voted for a new couch?
I am confident that Arryl will perform his duty as chair and let anybody sit on him whenever they are tired or need a break as is the job of a chair--- and the vice chair, Ross Kagawa, one of the nicest guys one could ever meet, will also serve when Arryl cannot as a chair to accommodate those who need a place to sit and rest. Both men definitely look the part and will be good comfortable chairs.
Now we must decide whose going to be the couch? The couch does not necessarily have to be a big person, just be willing to serve and have more than one person sitting on them at a time.
Just like fraternity and pledges one of the 2 new county council members should be considered as the new couch. They are the ones that will get their chops most busted. Robert’s Rules of dis-Order,(sic) also states that the couch is voted by constituent's of the county , not council members.
So, let's cast our votes now for either Felicia Cowden or Luke Evslin. KipuKai Kuali‘i would had been considered as a new member however he has served before on council.
The couch should not go undecided.
All in favor of Luke , say Aye!
All in favor Felicia say Aye!
All in favor of Kauai county council working together for the better of all of us, and congratulating them say Aye!
