"Pono, not Porno..." 'Obama Da Dog'

"Pono is one of Obama's Da Dogs favorite words in the
 Hawai'ian language, Be careful when spell check is used though..."

Pono does not work well on spell check, pono is a frequently used Hawaiian word that means righteous.

 Many people in Hawai'i use   popular Hawaiian words  words  Aloha,(Hello, Goodbye, Love) and a Hui Hou (Until We Meet Again) as regular conversation and even in formal letters, so when I recently used pono in one of my many letters, the spell- check on my computer corrected  it to "Porno."
 I wasn't paying attention and the letter was sent with the word 'porno' where 'pono' should had been.

My letter read like this. "Aloha Lisa, Mahalo Nui Loa (Thank you very much)  for watching my dog, feeding and caring for her while I was away. Your are a dear and pono friend (letter that went out said porno) , again Mahalo Nui Loa, James "kimo" Rosen.

Remember spell check cannot read minds, lucky for me Lisa has a sense of humor! ;D)
