"Facts of Life..." James "Kimo" Rosen

"Let me tell ya bout the birds and the bees and the flowers and the trees and a thing up above, and a thing called Love..." Please take a moment to remember all the Americans who lost their lives 10 years ago today...  I was going to do something serious for this day in history, however I figured everyone, news media and many blogs will cover it much better than dakinetalk. My hope is to bring  a smile to your face and to be thankful we live in America!
James Kimo Rosen and his nephew Jason Gross back in 1980 somewhere in Florida...

I remember when my father got up enough nerve to confront me about the 'birds and the bees,' he said, "son I'd like to have a talk with you about girls, and how baby's are made." My reply was "OK Dad, what do you need to know." This is a standing  joke, however  I actually really said those words.

It's now many years later and we live in a different world today, recently a 12 year old boy asked his father about the facts of life and here is what he said,
"Daddy, how was I born? Well, son, your Mom & I first got together in a chat room on Yahoo. Then I set up a date via e-mail with your Mom & we met at a cyber-cafe. We snuck into a secluded room & googled each other. There your mother agreed to a download from my hard drive. As soon as I was ready to upload, we discovered that neither of us had used a firewall & since it was too late to hit the delete button, nine months later a little Pop-Up appeared that said: 'You got Male"

We can joke  all we want, that is the beauty of our country, land of the free and the home of the brave. Please take a moment of silence in memory of all  those who lost their lives in the September 11Th attacks ten years ago today, and all the brave men and woman in combat who have given the greatest sacrifice... G-d Bless America
