I'm always getting friend requests on Facebook from people I don't know. When I first joined Facebook I accepted everyone. Wow they want to be my friend, I thought, cool!

 I get frequent requests from young  good looking woman in their 20's? I think why are they asking an over weight poor Jewish guy with 3 chronic illnesses for friendship?

My latest was from a girl from France named, Maria Dubois. She has no friends and  has a beautiful profile picture. Why is this alleged person asking for my friendship?   Well, many guys my age are scammed by people acting as beautiful young woman and acting as if they love you etc, eventually asking for money then cleaning you out. Cat-fishing, taking on a different identity to screw someone out of their life savings, usually not romance.

Therefore Maria Dubois, Thanks for the friendship invite, however for now I will need to pass. Plus as far as life's savings, move on, you picked the wrong guy here. Even if you were for real, I would not be able to keep pace with you. Possibly the me from 40 years ago but not the me now.

May I say to all my friend's both male and female--when you get friend requests from younger good looking people wanting to be your friends, RUN!  ;-)
