Dear Mr. Farmers Almanac (Inspiration Friday)
We have had a great, hot summer here in Buffalo N.Y.
However as the calendar page turns to September, so have the cold evenings; cooler nights remind us Fall/Winter is getting even closer and of course in the mail today we received our snow plow contract.
I know winter will come soon enough but it feels like that contract seals the deal.
Last winter was a mild one and we can only hope we don't have a repeat of 2 winters ago that were record cold and snow fall.
As I add more birthday candles to my cake, I realize that I am more intolerant of the weather and what havoc it brings to driving in it and shoveling the heavy snow.

Please predict a mild winter again!!!
