"The element of Kimo Therapy..." James "Kimo" Rosen
![]() |
| Element energy bars are delicious, healthy, organic, filling and can curve your appetite. |

| Kimo's Delight! A blend of Cashews, Cherries, apricots, sunflower & pumpkin seeds, brown rice and apple juice. also known as Kimo-Therapy. |
Last year I was watching the show and saw Jonathan Miller the owner of Element bars ask the "Sharks" for A $150,000 investment for his new company that makes custom organic energy bars.
Jonathan looks like a young Dr. Oz, which can't hurt when your pitching health and well being. That episode of Shark Tank is one of my favorites since the company is actually providing something healthy and fun, plus the owner makes a living for himself and a small staff of employee's. Check out the "Shark Tank" episode on Youtube with Element bars;

Don't mistake Jonathan for Dr. Oz, Jonathan looks like a young Dr. Oz!

I made my own Element bar called "Kimo's Delight" the recipe consists of of cashews, cherries, apricots, pumpkin seed, sunflowers seeds, brown rice and apple juice, nothing artificial. I call it "Kimo's Delight!" (The Dakine Bar) Actually it was more like Kimo-Therapy. Since purchasing these energy bars, I have lost 7 lbs and my blood glucose numbers have dropped. I do not crave food, they curve and satisfy my appetite. Which is great news since I am a type-2 diabetic. The custom bars may seem expensive at $3.00 each, however you can't put a price on health. I eat half in the morning and half in the afternoon which cuts your price in half.
Element bars also offers many different bars with their own unique recipes which can be purchased for $2.00 each. I usually don't endorse products, however this product is like nothing you have tasted, It's ono, (delicious in Hawai'ian) healthy and fun.
I just came from my doctor and turned him onto Element bars and he is placing an order for his family. I highly recommend Element bars, you can try them and receive a 20% discount by logging onto;
On orders of $50.00 or more postage is free!
For the best tasting and healthiest snack, I highly recommend some Kimo-therapy for your long range health! Tell them Kimo sent you...
"Wop da Jaw" and "Broke da Mout" (Hawaiian pidgin for simply awesomely delicious)

"Gourmet meals for less than $5.00..." 'Obama Da dog'
WE all love to eat and for many Americans it's starting to show on their waist, hips and buttocks.
I have decided to start a recipe blog of healthy meals for less than $5.00 that are not only healthy and hearty, but affordable and inexpensive. And with no snacking after dinner you can eat like this and lose weight or maintain your current weight.
Fillet Mignon with bacon wrapped around the sides. Six fillet Mignon cost 15.99 at Kauai Costco.
That's 2.66 per fillet. I do not eat the bacon , my dog gets that part since she deos not keep kosher.
Costco potato salad for a huge 3lb container costs only $3.49. A six once serving cost's .35 cents
Costco sweet and spicy bean salad with corn cost $6.00 for 64 oz's. A 2 once serving cost .20 cents
The sunflower sprouts are free, since I trade spinach in my garden for them and the pepperoncinis cost pennies.
I fillet...........................2.66
2 oz bean salad... .20 each
6 oz potato salad......... .35
2-pepperoncinis.............. .08
I ear corn....................... 40
Total...........................3.69
with a few spice s and minimum butter on the corn along with an ice cold crystal lite lemonade this whole dinner costs under $4.00 and less than 15 minutes to prepare with minimum dishes.
This same dish in a restaurant would easily sell for 19.95 or more...
Bon appetit, wop da jaw, broke da mout and enjoy!

"Pleasing everyone is impossible.." 'James "Kimo" Rosen'
![]() |
| James "Kimo" Rosen even pisses his own dog off! ;D) |
"As I've grown older, I've learned that pleasing everyone is impossible. But pissing everyone off is a piece of cake."
The above quote recently posted on facebook by a friend could easily be my mantra. There is also the old expression, "that many of earnest word is spoken in jest."
Well folks, just to let you know I am against gay marriage. I am for legalized gambling and prostitution.
Now, have I managed to piss everyone off reading this? ;D)
Just kidding... Or am I? :D)

"Kimo's Doctored up dakine chili..."
Da food Doctor, PHD
My favorite place to shop is Costco, I fall victim to the free food samples and wind up buying quite a few. A few weeks back I stumbled upon Hormel's special reserve Chili, by far the best canned chili I have ever tasted. I bought case of eight for $9.95 and the chili winds up costing 1.25 per 15 oz. can. Usually I do not like canned food, this is the exception.
I decided to do with a can of chili, what I usually do with a pizza and that is doctor it up. I added bell pepper, jalapeno pepper, red onions, fresh garlic and fresh grape tomatoes along with finely cut fresh ginger. I combine all these ingredients into a microwave save bowl,l then added the can of chili and about one third can of water. Microwaved for a total time of approximately 4 minutes, I took it out and stirred and put back for another 4 minutes.
For gourmet chili at a reasonable price, just doctor the chili like you would a pizza. You can add what ever you like, sausage, hamburger, celery, whatever is around the house, however you won't go wrong with my recipe above!
Served on a bed of brown rice, red potatoes, and carrots. Cook the potatoes, carrots and brown rice all together and it makes for a great healthy carb...

| Adding fresh vegetables to canned chili makes it taste home-made. I used all the vegetables and spices above. |
