Aloha all, First time I ever posted a food photo from a restaurant....
My home is being fumigated and have been eating out the last few days until we are let back in. All 38 units are connected so we need to be out.
I have always been disappointed in food prices on Kaua'i... A burger at a food truck can cost $12.00 or more. Today I found a restaurant right in the middle of a tourist haven at the Coconut marketplace called, "T.C's"--- $6.95 for a half pond burger and fresh cut salad with papaya seed dressing on the side.
TC's is the most affordable menu I have seen for any sit down restaurant on the Garden Island, it is situated in a Polynesian hut. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone sick of being ripped off. My waitress bent over backwards to make me happy, along with decent prices, great service and huge portions, I believe this to be one of the best bangs for your buck on dining out on the Garden island.

there's another good reasonable place in there too but I cant remember the name!
Marianne, Is it called Harley's? Harley's is fast food style, you order at a window, whereas TC's is sit down and relaxing....
Yes Harleys is great too and you can order, sit down and they will bring it to you... Many of my visitors loved the Plantation great stores , Quiet . I remember when it was a rel booming thing...

I try and not do food trucks, no wash facilities, restrooms or wait people....

just have a problem with Food trucks on Kauai, the ones I have witnessed are more expensive than sit-down restaurants serving the same or similar items.

My home is being fumigated, a little worried about lingering chemicals and gasses?I am praying all 32 residents and myself are safe from the Fumigation...

it's OK, you don't need to read, the punch line is it's the best deal on the island!
Now, that is a plate of food worth taking a pic of!

James Kimo Rosen anything that breathes, termites, mice, rats. cockroaches and it would kill humans and pets that's why we are evacuated for 5 days, I am worried about the safety even if they say coast is clear.
