If you are lucky enough to choose your own doctor for care, the Internet makes it much easier today.
I felt the need to change to a new doctor a few months ago. I began searching the Internet, medical practices etc in my area. Now you can see, just by using 'Google,' who has good remarks, bad remarks, education and research about Doctors.
I chose someone who is well educated, respected in his field, progressive, liked by all and an age that will tell me how much longer he will be practicing. I picked a gem, so far he has made the vital numbers pertinent to my health improve and is progressive in his thinking. It shows us, don't just take the word of a referral, do your research.
Nothing is sacred with the Internet any longer; if you look up someone and don't like his waiting room time, etc. make an educated decision. It's your health and life, be part of it when it comes to your care.
