Miss America denies the swimsuit

will no longer feature the swim suit or evening gown competition, prompted by the "Me Too" movement.

People need to get over whatever little thing they are offended by today. Political correctness is ruining America

I remember when I could call a flight attendant a stewardess, an account executive a salesman and a custodial engineer a janitor.
I'm old school and forgot I must use the word mentally or physically challenged in lieu of handicapped, God forbid you use the "R word" as an honest mistake, society will have you thinking you committed a major crime. Words for
ethnic groups and gay people have changed over the years, I won't even get into that in fear of offending someone without even realizing it...
There is a movement
to get the phrase 'Senior Citizen' replaced In the name of 'inclusiveness with 'Older Person'.

I think the whole show is a joke, its a false idea and unrealistic standard of what society thinks women should look like. Its all fake
Um, objectifying women in a beauty contest is NOT political correctness. It's viewing people by their subsistence of their character and not by how they look physically compared to other people. You are only telling half the story to promote your narrative. The beauty contest did away with the swimsuit, because of issues like physical abuse, gender equality and female empowerment, not because it was it was seeking a non-offensive name.
No one forces these women to enter these competitions!
