| Isn't it ironic how all these famous people loved being around Trump before he became POTUS? |
Mazie will have a republican challenger come November, a retired systems engineer Ron Curtis, a political unknown. However after Hirono just alienated many of the male population with her remarks telling them all to, "shut up." This next election could be a real spoiler, an upset of the likes the democrats haven't seen since "The Donald" defeated Hillary in 2016.

Imagine if the roles were reversed and a male senator had said to the women of our country,"Just 'shut up' and step up. Do the right thing for a change."
There would have been a public lynching and the 'Me too' movement would be up in arms and would had called for that senator to resign. His name would be tarnished, he would be shamed on the national news and talk show circuit.
We are taught from early on that little girls are suppose to be made of "sugar and spice and every thing nice."
Let me tell you, that rhyme from my childhood is as false as Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy.
There is a double standard that woman are to be believed and men are just slobs and liars.
Men can also be sexually assaulted and often times are, but when they report it are usually laughed at because men are suppose to be macho and enjoy any kind of sex no matter what--- that's what testosterone allegedly does for you.
Ten years ago
There are good decent men and good decent women in this world. A public figure telling half the population to "shut up" is something that just 'ain't' pono, and something society should not tolerate.
America is in peril. Please pray for Mazie and America's crisis.

'Ceasefire time in the war on men'
There’s a war being waged against men. I’m making a subtle claim, I realise. Subtle in the same way that Dame Edna’s wardrobe and Cher’s hair are subtle, but then I’ve never been one for shilly-shallying around.
A war on men. Grubby, dishonest and destructive. A war without cause and without honor (as are many) and in this case, driven by a particularly strong thirst for blood. It is vengeance fueled and focused. This war doesn’t care who it discredits and, in terms of reputation, disembowels. Why? Because, feelings.
Where’s my proof, I hear you say. Well, to start with there’s this one chap called Brett who was verbally and, in all ways other than physically, flayed en route to his now confirmed seat on the US Supreme Court. That’s one fairly solid example.
On that, let’s settle some things.
Just because Brett Kavanaugh was confirmed to the bench after claims of sexual assault against him were unproved, doesn’t mean he won. Nobody won. Especially not his accuser, a woman dragged reluctantly into the hateful public melee. Read more;

No one who has an opinion to express should be asked to "shut up", including Ms. Mazie. I feel fortunate to live in a country where everyone has the right to express an opinion. In this case, Mazie may not have thought through the possible ramifications. Does she have a father, husband, brother, or colleague who has always spoken and acted appropriately? Sure, we see and hear news all the time, that people have perpetrated terrible crimes, but note that not all the accused are male! And crimes are sensationalized by the media, because it apparently sells advertising and brings readership or fans. The #metoo movement is completely unnecessary. Every male and female can speak up. In fact, I am female, and I fear that the #metoo movement has encouraged some women who were not victims to lie, just to support the movement.
Many of us remain silent because I was told that it was my FAULT and this happend to me when I was 11 years old. Told my Mom and because he was an UNKO and Drinking he didnt MEAN IT 😢 this is why many dont REPORT IT
To my fellow Hawaii friends Mazie Hirono needs to retire. I thought she’s a good person tell she interferes the Kavanaugh’s confirmation. Read this article before you decide.
Talking about woman’s movement to shut up 🤐it depends on what the issues are. The media’s now a days can’t be trusted to my opinion as long as they can sell their fake stories that’s all it matters. I voted Mazie Hirono believing she’s a good person convincing me to vote democrats only cuz republicans were raised taxes and Etc. I’m so disappointed when I saw Mazie Hirono in the news critizing Brett Kavanugh and doing this kind of movement. I come to the conclusion she’s one of the #cleantheswamp for the trump movements. How did she come up on this kind of movement “shut up” she needs to look at the facts before she open herself supporting a lie that never happens. Everyone has the right to voice their opinions. Yes Kavanaugh admitted he drinks and love beers it doesn’t mean his a rapist. So all men drinks beers were rapist ? I’m a woman and love beers does that made me a men rapist ? Mazie Hirono shouldn’t be involved in this unless she’s being told to do so. Ow I forgot she’s a democrats they help it’s other to keep their positions. She should retire before she gets exposed herself. In reply Lesa Evaimalo It happens to me I was physically abused by my father and my big brothers and left for dead same as one of my little sister. In the old days ADHD is not recognized we both can’t help ourselves of being so active and get hit and stump you can name it how they discipline in the old days. But it made me the way I am now. After hearing Mazie Hirono speak, I, as a woman, would never vote for her again.
Vote Ron Curtis for Hawaii Senate. We have a choice. I believe Mazie Hirono may have sealed her fate with that speech?

Maybe the reason many republican men don’t speak up is that they’re labeled as whipped wimps by a few malevolent jerks in their party? Nonetheless true heroism is standing up to the bullies when the repercussions are terrible, I haven’t seen any strength in their party for since johnson, it’s just a reality show.

The longer you live here, the more that you will observe all that is Hewa Loa and needs to be dismissed from all moku, especially illegally occupying u.s.a. militaropoliticocorporates and nonprofit corporates who will be leaving shortly. 90-day exit strategy in the forefront.

Kimo, your comments are right on. When I heard her say those words, I wondered what world she was living in. I’ve been a loving caregiver for my late wife for almost a decade. There are many like me that felt insulted. This was worse than being called a “deplorable” by Hillary. Vote for her opponent.

Kimo is spot on in his criticism of our Senators comment. It was both unprofessional and showed her true colors, which are not Red , white and blue. The new double standard that the left has developed is both dangerous and divisive to the country. Pitting people against one another based on race, color, sex or any other criteria is both wrong and diametrically opposed to the very principles that this country was founded upon. A vote against her is a vote for the return of civility in our nation.
