"Whats in a name..."'Judith Whitehead' (Inspiration Sunday)

Judith Whitehead lives in Amherst New York
( A suburb of Buffalo, N.Y.)

 and has worked in the ophthalmology
 field of medicine for over 30 years

Whats in a name.....

Having been born with the name Judith during the "Judy Garland" era, I never loved or disliked my name.  I just went with it. 

Most of my younger life most people would call me Judy but I have found in my more mature years many people, friends and family have morphed my name into derivatives of the name, all in a friendly, loving gesture  which has amused me over the years.
Some call me Joode, JuGe, Judes,  and other affectionate names. I have gone to using the whole name Judith for my writing and professional documents written.  

Over the years I have grown to become fonder of  my name and it does seem to fit me.

As one of our great comedians used to state "call me anything you want but just don't call me late for dinner" and the long popular phrase from Cary Grant that I have heard no more than a thousand times, "Judy, Judy, Judy."
